We created this song originally from just the guitar part and vocals, and then developed the lyrics slowly over time. It's about relationships that develop in tandem with consuming substances, and how those relationships are affected by the continued use and reliance on those substances. What happens when you take away the substances and allow the relationship to develop more naturally? Much love.
